In the mid-priced range (second hand) mics I tested a set of Neumann KM184, Sennheiser MKH40 and AKG CK61ULS (with C480 body) on piano and organ in ORTF.
The mics where placed next en upon each other trying to get the same recording spot.

Piano distance: 1,5m from Yamaha C7 grand.
